I tell you, I went ahead and replaced the OEM filters with K&N replacements and I have to say that it did make a noticeable difference. While I can sense a bit of a performance increase, it's my mileage that has really improved. Prior to the K&N's I would always get 40 MPG, even when riding two up. Since the swap out my mileage has gone up to as high as 48 MPG with an average of around 44 MPG. This past weekend we rode two up for two straight days and averaged 45.5 MPG.
