csogbk Posted April 27, 2010 #1 Posted April 27, 2010 Anyone have these installed? Could you post pictures is so? How do they install? How long did it take, etc. I would like to get a set but would like to see them on a member's bike as opposed to the Diamond R site's pics! Thanks! http://www.diamondraccessories.com/yamaha/proddisplay.php?name=RSV/RSTD LED Saddlebag Light Bar
KiteSquid Posted April 27, 2010 #3 Posted April 27, 2010 I assume he is talking about the 15 inch light bar http://www.diamondraccessories.com/prodimages/slimlinethumbnail.jpg I have one, but I did not like the chromed plastic ring, you can install it with out the ring. I found it for a LOT less elsewhere, without the trim with a small, virtually undetectable scratch on the lens for about $8 in a bargain bin... It is actually a Stop, tail turn lamp from a semi trailer.....
Dave77459 Posted April 27, 2010 #4 Posted April 27, 2010 I suspect he means this one, since it has the same name as the subject of this thread. http://www.diamondraccessories.com/prodimages/newlightbar8.jpg
Lone Eagle Posted April 27, 2010 #5 Posted April 27, 2010 I have those on my bike - for three years now - no problems - great product.

csogbk Posted April 27, 2010 Author #7 Posted April 27, 2010 Lone Eagle, correct, I was referring to the saddlebag lights. Do you have some daylight / night time pics by any chance? How do they install? Drilling? Thanks! Color01 they are WAY WAY over my budget too but in the interest of safety I may have to make this sacrifice!

KiteSquid Posted April 28, 2010 #9 Posted April 28, 2010 I suspect he means this one, since it has the same name as the subject of this thread. Thanks for the correction. I would like to see a set in person.... who has them that lives near me????? correction, at $419.95 plus shipping, I don't think I'll be buying a set anytime soon.
csogbk Posted April 28, 2010 Author #10 Posted April 28, 2010 Kite I got the LED strip you gave me on over the weekend, man does it help light up the rear end! Thank you very much, I feel alot safer riding home down Rt. 301 at night! I was interested in the saddlebag lights so I could get some visibility on the sides. Rode home next to a friend the other night, he was on his HD Ultra Classic and it's very well lit from the sides. I think for the price I may try and light the front and or at least the rear reflectors. I'd still like to get together and tackle the passing lamp project with ya when you can!
