starkruzen Posted March 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2010 My wife says the back rest on my 07 RSTD is too unconfortable. I must attend to agree. It sets you too straight up and makes you slide forward. I was wondering if anyone has the same complaint? If the rear back rest support bars and risers wher back another 2 inches I think it would be much more comforatable. Any suugestions? Thanks Mark:fingers-crossed-emo
Sylvester Posted March 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 7, 2010 Trade it for a Venture and you'll both be more comfortable. That is what my buddy did.
Solodadof2 Posted March 10, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 10, 2010 Are you still using the oem seat? Looking at mine there may be a possibility of relocating it back some. You may consider adding a trunk with backrest pads. If all else fails bungy strap the wife to the backrest.

buddy Posted March 14, 2010 Share #6 Posted March 14, 2010 McGuiver a 1st gen MK2 trunk onto your bike, the backrest angle is adjustable... I'm in the process of doing just that. Adding the Venture trunk to the Tour deluxe. Also will do the fairing later on in the year too. And both of them can be remove that way I can still have a cruiser and touring bike in one.
