Squeeze Posted January 18, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) I won't need it, i already have a '99 and a '85 Motor in the Shop ... But not for long, the '99 will go into my '93 VR more sooner than later. I wanna built an hybrid out the 1300 cc VR Engine and the Heads from the '85 Motor for the 1Gen Max. So this will be the first Step into that Direction .... You know, Power is corrupting ....:whistling: Edited January 18, 2010 by Squeeze typo
Yammer Dan Posted January 18, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 18, 2010 Squeeze, What are the differences from this one and a early 83 engine?? The boost system is the big thing isn't it?
Squeeze Posted January 18, 2010 Share #7 Posted January 18, 2010 Crankshaft, Con Rods, Pistons, Cams, Valves and Valve Springs, Gearing are the main Differences. V-Boost is to fill the Needs in the upper RPM Range, V-Boost alone gives me 10 Percent more Power. It was 80 kw with V-Boost off, 88 kw with V-Boost on, on stock Settings (starting opening on 5750 RpM) on the rear Wheel on my '99 Vmax
