Carb repair or upgrade

Recommended Posts

I am new to the Venture and need some help on maintenance.

Can anyone tell me if there would be a problem with putting a 1992 v-max intake manifold and carberator on my 1987 Venture?

It should bolt right on and run. However, there is a controller of some kind that needs to be used to engage the V-Boost. Your Vmax parts would really be nice on my 1985 Venture when I get the Vmax cams installed . . . Want to sell?:smile5:

The vboost system adds about an inch to the overall heigth of the system. You would need to cut about an inch out of the airbox to get it to fit. I have just the runners that I'm contemplating putting on the 84 with a manual control. Hers a couple of bench pics......
