Sat. and went to the car museum.Iwill post a few pics. of the cars.The little silver car was at the motel where we were staying.The guy said it took 2 1/2 years to build,started life as a 1953 nash metropolitan,he did a great job.Hope you enjoy the pics.Jerry M. Jerry M Posted September 8, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 8, 2009 Yes it was built by GM in1950,it was called the Futurliner Bus and was designed by Harly Earl.They built 12 of them to tour the country.One just sold at Barrett Jackson auction house for 4.1 mil.I remember reading about that thing when I was a young kid.Jerry M.
