Whitetales Posted August 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2009 Hey all, I purchased a new 6 disk cd changer on ebay for my 06 venture but the thing doesn't have instructions on how to install it on my bike. It looks to have the rubber mounting bracket to go in the side compartment. anyone know where to find some detailed instructions on how this mounts? Thanks! RedRider Posted August 15, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 15, 2009 I think I have a pdf of the instructions on my home computer. Will check later today and post (if I find it). RR

Whitetales Posted August 16, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted August 16, 2009 RedRider, You da Bomb! Thank you for these instructions. This looks to be a breeze with these instructions. Any other tips you have are welcome. Brett
RedRider Posted August 16, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 16, 2009 Yup, it is pretty easy to install. And to remove. I had mine in for a couple of years and then moved to using an MP3 player. Sold the CD player to another member on here and copied the instructions - just in case. Have fun and enjoy the tunes. RR
Whitetales Posted August 18, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted August 18, 2009 Well, the install went pretty slick with on exception. The double sided sticky foam they give you with the unit is junk. I had the player all mounted and the foam came loose from the sticky tape. I had to scrape it off and then used 3M double sided tape. That things not going anywhere now. Great sound from the cd player. I will have to try out the MP3 player out now.
