Cerviperus Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2009 Had my follow-up appointment this morning with the surgeon that worked on my knee, and found out I get to spend five more "lovely" weeks in a full-leg brace and no weight bearing. I've only survived one so far... I don't know how I'm going to do it. To anyone else out there not able to ride, I feel your pain.
RandyR Posted June 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2009 I think your insurance should pay for a trike or side car rig....
Cerviperus Posted June 16, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted June 16, 2009 I thought about calling around to see if anyone had a trike I could rent.
SteveW Posted June 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 16, 2009 I went with the sidecar Now that the hip and knee are like new I still like the sidecar its fun to ride. Hang in there it will heal and its not worth rushing it and screwing things up. Steve

kbran Posted June 16, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 16, 2009 About six weeks for me, in a walking boot now so hopefully just a coulple more to go. Went out today and took it off the side stand and cranked um up. Think I could ride one now, but I found out quick what Dan talks about, the warden stuck her head out and gave me the evil eye:confused24:.
