Pappa Bear Posted April 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2009 Could someone steer me to the post on refreshing the cannister? I get the gist of it I wanna know if I can unscrew the hoses off the ends to get it out and work on it? The bike is an 89 VR

BJB Posted April 3, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 3, 2009 Brian, Cannister contains the desiccant to dry the air pumped through the compressor in the CLASS system. It is under the rear passenger seat.
Pappa Bear Posted April 3, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted April 3, 2009 Can you unscrew the air lines from both ends? Don't want to break anything!
BJB Posted April 3, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2009 I had mine out, and I am sure I removed all lines. Not sure but I think I removed one line, then unscrewed cannister from the other line. I really had a tough time getting into the cannister to get to the desiccant. There is a post somewhere here, in 1st gen, about the problems and solutions to getting it out.
