Looks like this might be a nice option for anybody without a stereo that wishes to add one.

Pretty neat setup...........too bad it doesnt have xm or sirius built into it...........looks rugged enuff to stand up to just about anything.

It's great until you discover that it's actually huge. 6" wide 3.5" tall 2 "deep. plus no back ipod/audio in so you have ot have a cable dangle across the fairing to the ipod.

 

I had one of these in my hands to put on my 1st gen. I sent it back and used a car stereo mounted sideways.

I looked at this one too and liked the fact its water tight and looks rugged but decided that

I would put a Kenwood deck into my 1st gen early last summer and found out that while a I got slightly better sound and access to MP3's, I missed the speed sensitive volume and the uptop controls. I am going back to the OEM system but adding inputs for my IPOD and Garmin Quest. I think that should solve my issues.
