Guest jdbuote Posted July 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 5, 2007 I understand that "up to a certain model number" there was a factory authorized replacement thruster washer to solve certain 2nd gear issues. Does anyone know what was the relevant number ? I am assuming that bikes manufactured after that particular number would have had the "hard" washer factory installed. The 2nd gear repair is within the realm of backyard mechanics and there is lots of information here on how to do it. I did mine last winter and it is awesome to have it and not be afraid to use it.
