Looking for rubber seat bumpers

Recommended Posts

Anyone have one of the little rubber bumpers that plug into the underside of the RSV seat laying around that they'd be willing to part with? Maybe someone with a parts bike? (YA22W-24741-00-00 PAD, SEAT). I can order one, but with tax + S&H it ends up being about $7.50...kinda spendy for a chunk of rubber...

Just an idea here Jryan....

You might be able to use the "rubber ends / stompers" that are on the end of a pair of crutches. You can find these in bags of two or four at your local pharmacy store for about 5 bucks...

Lowes and Home Depot also carry rubber ends that go onto furniture leg ends.

You can cut excess rubber off and just use the lower solid part (bottom portion / part).

You can then drill a small hole thru it, add a flat washer and screw it to your seat..

or just use adhesvie if you wish to glue it on your seat.

One other idea is stopping along the highway and picking up a small piece of recap tire and cut / make a rubber stopper for free........glue it on..heck, no one will see it anyway..

Dont know if this helps you , but was just sharing a thought I had..:confused24:
