FozzyUSN Posted August 5, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2008 If my bike sets for over a 24 hour period, the memory presets are erased. Does anyone know why this would happen? The radio works just fine and I can reset the memory presets. Thanks ahead for any input.

Bummer Posted August 5, 2008 Share #3 Posted August 5, 2008 Battery getting old? (Just a guess, not a wise crack. Though I suppose it could go both ways.)
az1103 Posted August 5, 2008 Share #4 Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) Clean your battery connectors ! I had the exact same problem on two of my cars. Cleaned the battery posts greased the connection, problem gone. Edited August 5, 2008 by az1103
rod Posted August 5, 2008 Share #5 Posted August 5, 2008 Ok seriously you should have 2 power leads to the radio one for the memory one for the radio it self. Look at the connections for corrosion. Rod
rez Posted August 5, 2008 Share #6 Posted August 5, 2008 Don't forget to check the 'Back-Up' fuse. (for memory). I believe it's 5A. I just recently had to replace mine.
