  2. So far I like it..... really can't tell any difference.... now can't I scrub the pegs like i did on the AVONS??? time will tell...
  3. Wish I had known yawl were in Waynesville, rode thru there on the 1st Hwy 276 & BRP is GREAT!!! .... LOL I could used some help Tuesday when I had a blowout near Clingmans Dome....

  5. the new bikes with FI are not a good bike FI are bad to go out..... seems like every time we get 1 in the FI will go out....
  6. 1st 2 pics are on the dragon notice the curve goes left and it banks right ..... Seen a lot of waterfalls just 2 of many ...will try to post more when I get home and get them all down loaded ...
  7. I just got back from NC ..... did not like the dragon.... Cherohala Skyway and Blue Ridge is great.... 276 from waynesboro to brevard is a great ride..... Cullowee take 107 to cashers then highlands franklin, take hwy 28 all the way to fontanna dam or deals gap... from the dragon take Foothills parkway then go to Townsend, take 73 over to 441 just outside of Gatlinburg then go over the mountain to Cherokee ..so many great roads to ride besides the DRAGON....

  9. Sweet ... I have an ultra glide trunk I've been thinking about doing that with... course I might replace the RSV trunk with it...
  10. I have a hitch on mine,,,, I have about 1.25' between tire and hitch bar......bout the same as the MC tire....
  11. I just got back from Robbinsville ... rain was 40/50% everyday ...we dodged rain and had a great time....wore jackets about everyday it was great..... the riding in that area is AWE

  13. I don't know the brand he just said he got it for a vw and the guy never came back to get it... it's a 165/85 15
  14. I use the front break more than the rear .....unless it's a evade stop then BOTH...or if gravel is present.....2 rotors vs 1 ..... also rear breaks wear out more faster it tends to drag thus quicker wear...
  15. well like i sad 7k miles is not enuff miles as for age it was made in 13...as over inflated it was aired to max lbs as every1 said that was best pressure to run.... as for the car tire, if I didn't know it was a car tire wouldn't know the difference....i actually like the way it rides and handles ...( didn't think you'd ever hear me say that )

I live in the deep south , there is hot and then there is SOUTH HOT... temperature will be in the upper 90's and humidity will be the same... this is what we use http://www.ebay.com/itm/TECHNICHE-6529-BLUEL-Cooling-Vest-L-Blue-Nylon-/381015486235 and a mesh jacket will last up to 4hrs + just re soak and it's good to go again....drink plenty of WATER ..avoid towns lol ...

  20. well I've had really good luck with E3's and 2 reason I tried Avons, cheaper and I couldn't find any1 hat had an E3 at the time..Right now i have a 165/85 15 VW tire on the back and DANG it rides and handles great.. gonna run it awhile and see how it last....
  21. not like that......... but the tread lines that was there when I left are GONE..........
  22. Puc, thing is it had plenty of tread when i left...over an 1/8 inch it went from good to the picture in bout 700 miles....
