  6. Hey Venturerider.orgers! This weekend I saw - and rode- a 2009 RSTD that had external, round air-cleaners mounted to both sides where the stock air cleaners go??!?!? It looked really good! I have never seen this before and I am wondering if there is a reason. Good, not good??? Aesthetically I WANT TO DO IT! I appreciate your knowledge and feedback!

  13. Hey Ya'll: Happy New Year! can anyone give me the thread specs for part number 98704-06016-00. Flat head screw that goes on the timing home cover? Mine look like crap after installing the Baron V4 cover. want nice allen head screws for this. if you know where to order, that would be great too!
  14. Just search for SlowRollWv here on the forum and it should give you his contact info.
  15. They are Baron's 3" touring with the Reinhart tips(found used on 3Bay for 50 bux i think). They do sound pretty damn good though/... I will try to get a video uploaded.
  16. Venturerider.orgers: I am loving the quality and look of Slowroll's Passenger Floorboard Backing Plates!! Great service, great product and fast shipping! Also, the STAR OEM saddlebag rails! I did the mod where you drill your own hole to lower them and make them parallel to the pipes and not hit the turn signals. Very nice look IMHO! Ride Safe.
  17. I will have this looked at. good info!
  18. How would you determine that there is a clutch problem? how would you diagnose that?
  19. i will take it up to 6k probably...

  21. let's argue about tires now! haha!!!
  22. Thanks all for reading my post!
  23. I ran the Valvoline 10w40 synthetic for 3k. I had to wait to budget in the new Maxima Maxum Extra4 10w60 and the K&N filter- $64 total off eBay for a gallon of the oil and a chrome filter. My friends... I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference there is in the overall sound of the engine and performance of the transmission. I was hearing clicketty clakkin lifters, noisy and slipping clutch and it whined thru all the gears. Now it is silent and runs like a .... um.... well oiled machine! Could not be happier. If you think that your engine and tranny sounds smooth and quiet, it might be even smoother with this oil? I would love to hear from another member if they try the Maxum Extra 4 10w60 and their opinion. Ride Safe!
  24. I hear ya!
