  1. the RSV has part dangling below the frame- I might be able to give a better answer after I get the adapters, but they told me up-front that I needed them. You can check the website here: http://www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com/ seems like a nice lift
  2. Well, I've had my 1st interaction with PitBullMotorcycleLifts... and all I can say it THEY'RE AWESOME! I had purchased the turntable option for my new lift and then found that it won't work with my RSV. I am pleased to say they not only took a return for it, but THEY paid for shipping! Sweet! I'm still waiting for the adapters but they said it'd be a few days.
  3. I greatly appreciate your insight! When you say you're working on an adapter- I assume it's the one I ordered (or are you talking about an adapter for the turntable use with the Venture??) THanks again!
  4. I don't have another bike, so maybe someone else bought one too? THanks for checking- Guess I'll call/email them. maybe they're craft something??
  5. Just bought a pitbull lift and turntable... now I wonder if the turntable will work on my 08 RSV. Can anyone help? I was at the IMS this weekend in Chicago and they had a pretty decent discount- plus NO SHIPPING also bought the adapters and realize the turntable doesn't require them. One other question-- where are the jack-points? I don't wanna screw up the bike by lifting it :| Thanks in advance
  6. started as a Mainframe computer operator in the USMC in 1976. operations and JCL tech, etc. Left the Marines after 9 years for the big bucks of the civilian world. JCL/Production support, on to storage management/capacity planning, when the company I worked for decided to go for the distributed platform vs the mainframe. From then I worked with pc & server support/LAN Support then to configuring servers, then to Database Management (SQL Server) where I've been for 10 years. Kinda funny sidenote, worked for 4 different companies all in the same building through buyouts/mergers/spinoffs. Ben '08 Venture
  7. We have Nolan N42 helmets with blutooth and they work well. intercom is crystal clear and my wife tells me so is the cellphone connection.
