2001 Road Star... at least it used to be :P 2009 Royal Star Venture. Both with lots of extras!
  2. Thanks for the info, Squidley. 40 mpg sounds a lot better than what I'm getting. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for the break in period and keep my fingers crossed that I'll get that 40 mpg too! As for having fun with the new toy... I'm having a blast! I just hit 600 miles on it yesterday. Had to take her for a ride after adding as much chrome as my pocket book would allow me:P
  3. I just bought me a nice new shiny 2009 Venutre "S" and I am loving it! Within the past 40 miles, I have put on the Samson Slash Cuts, did the AIS Mod and did the 1/4 turn out on all the pilot mixture screw as I read about in these forums. I am woundering, though, what should I expect the gas mileage to be during the breake in period and therafter? Right now I have 400 miles on it and I am consistantly getting only 34 mile per gallon. My crazy, modified, and overpowered 2001 Road Star gets 37 mpg... will it get better as the engine breaks in?
