  1. Weird how that works.   Whenever I see a bunch of sockets at a flea market or such...I sit there and go through it trying to find (quality) 10mm sockets.    Must go to that same dimension where all the missing socks go.    I'm missing some 12mm as well.

  2. It's all smoke & mirrors.    Electric vehicles are the way of the future, but we're not nearly there yet.    When you look at the carbon footprint of these vehicles you need to look at the  "Total" footprint, ...which is to say what it takes to mine and process the materials needed...the carbon output of the vehicle during it's lifetime....and what happens to these materials when the vehicle is scrapped.    If you take into account the "Total" carbon footprint;  electric vehicles fall way behind ICE vehicles.    They don't tell ya that...

Yup, they're the future, but not OUR future...maybe our kids or grand-kids, but not us.

The bigger picture they're looking at is CONTROL of the population.     They'd like to push us into living in urban centers, on top of one another,  relying on public transportation.

There's true evil at work in this world, and the push for "carbon free" transportation is one small facet of it.

  3.     Lisa and I have been thinking about going with 3 wheels...dunno yet if 2 of them will be in the front or the rear, but if I was looking for a traditional trike....I gotta say.....If you're willing to part with the $$$$.....That Goldwing Trike that Woody had down at Ashville was triked by California Side Car and it's gotta be the sharpest trike I've seen....even if it's not a Yammy....

  4. I've an old Polaris 4 wheeler, and it does what it needs to do, but I've never felt it was a well designed / built machine.....Can't compare to the quality of my other toys.

      Anyhoo, that's my $0.02...

  5. Vogel....Vogel....???     I've heard of it but don't know what it is or what it's about.   Do tell.....Seems to make sense to make any reservations as far in advance as possible....

  7. Give it the Seafoam "Treatment" and ride.    If I put my bike away for the season with ethanol gas in it,   It'll leak like yours for the first 20 minutes or so when I first run it again, but will stop and won't have any problems for the rest of the season.   This happened to me 3 years in a row...NOW...I make sure I put ethanol free gas, treated with Seafoam in her when I put her away for the Winter and the problem has disappeared.

Don't be too eager to tear into the carbs....give it a little time.....and Seafoam....

  8. Lisa and I discussed it and we're gonna go for it.    I climbed a ladder for work today...got home and cut the grass on the riding mower and am still hobbling around...Unless it gets worse, I can ride....So.....WE'RE ON !!!

  9. Not sure if we're gonna make it.   Wife and I are discussing it.   Frickin' knee went out, for no good reason....I told her I'm not sure I'll be able to straighten up the bike.   Feels better today, but it's a one step up and two steps back sorta thing...been going on for a week now......If we can't make it, this will truly be the Summer of Suck...I'll let ya know....Fuck My Life Reaction GIF

  10. Just ordered a set of EBC.    I was thinking about it on a recent ride....seemed to make a bit more noise than they should have.    Your post prompted me to get that done this weekend....THANKS !!!

Update:  Just replaced the rear pads.   Inside pad was almost to the metal, so I got to it just in time....Put a little air in the rear shock....(45psi)...Won't clean it up until I get there.   Seems that every time I clean her up before hand it'll rain...In any case I'll see y'all there....
