Glad to hear injuries were minimal, and damage to the bike repairable. Hope you heal quickly. Ebay is likely the best way to find your parts. I've seen lower cowling on there in recent weeks.

I was reading some history about the RSV Millenium Edition. I understand that Yamaha built 1,500 of the 2000 Royal Star Venture Milleniums and 1,000 of them were shipped to the United States. It looks like they were the only Venture model that were a specifically numbered series. The Numbered Tag is on the trunk lid. So, how many of those 1,000 Ventures are still being used on the roads in the U.S.? What number do you have? MM #452

My first encounters with war protesters was in the 60s as a young soldier. I learned all about free speech back then. WBC is just another irrelevant group of nasty people who don't know, don't want to know, don't care, and desperately need to show just how irrelevant they truly are. They won't change anything in the end, except themselves. I joined the PGR to stand the line for the veteran and the veteran's family. That matters. -
In years past when I installed CB radios in my cars and trucks, I always made it a practice to get a noise filter for the 12V power wire. Usually bought them at Radio Shack. But, it filters out the engine noise in the radio quite effectively. I seriously doubt that the Ventures have such an animal on them. My 2000 RSV and my friend's 2001 RSV both suffer the noise issue. All that is left is to find the power wire to the CB and install the filter. Hope this helps. Steve

Hi Everyone, Need to get some serious repair work done on my seats, or replace them on my Millenium Venture. Am thinking that it would be nice to have the pillow top seats, but the question is, "Where could I get them in tan...to match what I now have?" Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
