  1. Just throwing this out there but could have been some bad gas
  2. Thanks for the info. My bike is an Eluder, not GT, so has no CB or NAV. Not sure the price of the Freewire will pay off without those features. I guess you can control the Infotainment with your voice though
  3. I did not know about the Freewire, thank you. Does that connect to the headset port on the tank and then wireless to the Sena Headset?
  4. I recently bought my Eluder and would like to add a Blue Tooth Headset to work the Infotainment as well as communicate with other's using a Sena. My brothers both use a Bell Mag 9 with the Sena 10 built in to the helmet. Is this a good alternative or should I be looking at something else? I typically wear a half helmet but the Mag 9 is a 3/4 helmet with a visor.
  5. Finished the install last night. Very easy project. Kit comes with the relay needed also. I still need to aim them correctly but they look great. I didn't wire the DRL function because I didn't want to be splicing into a wiring harness. The fog ight only plugs right in. I thought I might wire the DRL wire into the fog light wire so they both come on at the same time. Or I may just leave the DRL function inactive.
  6. Seems to be the trend with Japanese bikes they read higher than actual. My 3 Harley Touring bikes I had were spot on. I haven't checked my Eluder yet with GPS but will and report back. I'm sure it will be the same as yours.
  7. I'm picking my bike up today and ordered these fog lights. Will report back on install and quality. If they look like junk I will return them without installing.
  8. Anyone install this yet? Good? Bad? Indifferent? http://www.bigbikeparts.com/templates/product.aspx?ProductGuid=61-121&GroupGuid=16 Thanks
  9. Looking at my MSO and the HP says 89.9. Isn't that kinda optimistic?
  10. No way in hell would I use something like that
  11. I was wrong about the gas being in there for 2 years. Just since this past December. Female owner, moved out of town. She will take $6k for the bike. Has less than 7k miles on it. Best I can do on a Goldwing in that price range is probably a 2003 or maybe an 03 at best. The Venture is heavy for sure and the carb's don't really excite me.
  12. Even though this bike has low miles and is in excellent condition it's been sitting for 2 years with gas in it. Owner has already moved out of town and left it with a relative to sell. Current condition is unknown if it will even start. I don't need that headache. Plus it's 3 hours away.
  13. Hello all, FNG here. Started out looking for a used 2005 to 2006 Goldwing then came across a 2009 Venture S. Just wanted to see if there were any known issues or anything to look out for if I decide to go look at this bike. Surprised these bikes are still carbureted in 2009.
