    Found issue. I some how got my wires mixed when I put them on relay. Got them straighten out now cruise works. Thanks to everyone for the help and knowledge.

    So while i was double checking my relay i found the ground wire had come off. I assume this happened whe i was puting the headlight back in. I hope that was the issue.

    Ill check the 87 pin today to make sure. I will also try connecting the two wires.

    This is the point I buy a throttle lock. I can do some wire work but im lost at schematics and such. Since the switch didnt fix it and it doesnt seem to be mechanical or vac im at the end of my comfort zone. I might need to seek someone with more experience to finish this task.

    I hane no blue light. Only green on speedo. I have no amber light. Only a green light on speedo.

    Still no cruise. I guess ill have to looke at vac or mechanical. Any ideas?

    Got tonight off so i replaced my brake switch and wired in my relay for cruise control. My brake lights up now and when i turn cruise on i here the relay click so tommorow i will test my cruise on the highway.

    Got the dual usb and voltmeter installed. According to my readings on my dm i read .5-1volt low from actual reading at the wire that charges battery. I think it my be because where I hooked it up. Here are some pics. This is the only modern upgrade we plan to make until radio goes out.

    Can you send me instructions on how to wire in a relay for my cruise control. I have a bad wrist so i need my cruise for long trips. Thank you for telling me how to test it.

    Alright got switch out but it crumbled in my fingers. I found all 4 wires. Now the hard part. Where can i get a switch? I really want my cruise to work. If need be how can i bypass front brake switch so my cruise will work.

    My brake light switch only has 2 wires not 4. I think this might be a not original switch. I will get a few pics when i get back home.

    Not sure how vc got on there should have been VR. Lol I will take front brake switch out to day and see if problem is there.

    When I try to use my cruise the light comes on but cant seem to get the cruise to hold. I have power every where i need it for the cruise. My front brake switch does not turn brake light on. Will this make my cruise not work? My VC was made in 10/83 so would it be an 83 or 84 VC?

    My snap on dm shows 13.4 at idle and 13.8 at 2000rpms. Still does not drop below 13.1 with all accessories on at idle. I think im good.

    I get 13.2v at idle and 13.8 at 2000rpms. Is this good. I checked my draw when all accessories are on and it never drops below 13.1v but my dash gauge shows 12v.
