  2. Selling my 1997 Royal Star. Purchased it in St Petersburg, Florida in 2018 and have done a lot of things to it to make it that special bike. My other bike is a BMW R1200GSA which I will be traveling the world once it is safe. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3053816918077302/
  3. Hello, I was wondering if you got the front brakes completed. I have a 97 RS and had the front rotors replaced and bothe calipers rebuilt. When I got the bike back it felt like the front brakes were a little spongy. I called back to the Yamaha service center and they said it could be some air in the system. They said they sometimes will tape the brake lever filly back to keep pressure on the system and let it at least overnight. I just untaped it and it felt much better. Just wanted to let you know of a quick and easy routine that might cure spongy brakes.
  4. I had a VW Bug with a 180 horse turbo engine with and iecco manifold setup and holly 4 barrel. I flipped the ring gear in VW trans and put 2 transmission case strap supports that held the transmission in check. Aluminum flywheel and that engine reved up like you wouldn't believe. Crown Conversion out of California adapted the engine to the VW trans. Miss that car!
  5. Very interested in seeing pics of your new ride!
  6. Was wondering if that was a 1997 Yamaha Royal Star?
  7. I installed the tire pressure/temp monitor system in the link below. They work great and good customer support. I believe these are similar. Using Radio frequency to work. Much better that bluetooth/phone system. I tried that route and returned the product. https://www.tpms.ca/motorcycle%20tpms%20tire%20pressure%20monitoring%20system.html
