I have an 86 VR. I went with the Voyager kit, mainly due to the price. It does steer harder, but at 66 yrs the increased safety is welcome.

How do I find the builds?

I have a 1986 Venture Royale. The fairing is badly cracked. The leg vents have come off entirely inside and outside. Right side has a large piece missing. Has anyone taken the fairing off and put separate gauges, windscreen and turn signals? twisted2010

I have a Voyager "trike" kit on my 1986 Venter Royale. Comes off in 20 minutes or put on in 30 minutes $2200.00. Does what I want it to. Harder to steer and rough start up. I donot mind going 65mph on it.

I bought a 1986 VR for 2000.00. I have been thinking that I got a bad deal I have had to rebuild the carbs, throttle cables, new starter, battery and front fork seals and 73,000 miles I did not notice that the bike has been wrecked and repaired fairly good. I have since been noticing some of my friend that have purchased much newer HDs are haveing to fix much more than I have that 25yrs newer twisted2010.
