BratmanXj Posted Thursday at 02:54 PM #1 Posted Thursday at 02:54 PM I'm looking to try some different suspension tuning with my '99 RSV and figured I'd ask on here if someone might have a used Barron's Lowering Kit before I reach out and buy one new.
Junior Posted 18 hours ago #2 Posted 18 hours ago I did this on my 2000 mm rsv. It helped me flat foot this motorcycle. I put the smaller front tire on also. Also Baron's handle bar risers. It helped me, don't know that affected the ride much. Definitely lower to ground,I hear you can drag mufflers.

I have a Hagon HD rear shock that lifted the rear slightly and the 18" Stratoliner front wheel with a 130 (narrower) tire... The Shinko 777 I put on the bike this year feel a little twitchy/unsettled at highway speeds and I'm wondering if lowering the rear might "reset" the rake & trail of a factory bike. I know a lot of people use to pull these kits off the bikes, so figured I'd ask before I order a new set. I'm 6'2" with fairly long legs, not a huge deal on the ride height to me.
