Skid Posted June 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 6, 2018 Ok I know there are a couple different types of antifreeze. Is there a specific coolant recommended for motorcycles?
M61A1MECH Posted June 6, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 6, 2018 I always use Honda premixed coolant, on my Royal Star TC, Venture and Goldwing, nearly 200,000 miles on those combined, never a cooling problem. One thing you want to be sure is the coolant does not have silicate in it, that will ruin the seals in the pump.
bongobobny Posted June 6, 2018 Share #3 Posted June 6, 2018 No specific "Motorcycle" antifreeze, but you need to make sure it is safe to use on aluminum for our particular motorcycles. I generally use Prestone myself...
