Go to a CB shop or find a ham radio operator, they will have a power meter, can hook up to the end of your antenna and see how much power you are putting out. Any suggestions? does the receiver stop when you pull the button, when I got my bike the CB would not transmit nor when I pulled the CB talk button the receiver didn't shut off (go quite) so I knew it was in the button, I squirted some contact cleaner in there and it worked.
