There r a few side panels with them in eBay right now not too badly priced

Mostly it is not the whole side panel that needs to be replaced, just the small individual louvers that are roughly 4 inches long by 3/4 inch wide and 1/8 thick with a small hinge pin at each end. It is the individual louvers that break and fall out never to be seen again.

Exactly. I'm glad flyinfool piped up because I could never explain it properly.

 

I would definitely like my vents to work cuz it makes a heck of a difference when its hot during the day and I find myself stuck in shorts at night
