Donvito Posted June 6, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 6, 2015 I have searched for help with installing a fuel pump in a 1st gen without success. Dion, djh3, has excellent directions for a 2nd gen posted for a Mr. Gasket 42s pump but not sure if it applies to a 1st gen. I have ordered an Airtex E8055 because it looks similar to the original but I will return it and get the Mr. Gasket or another model if it is a better pump or is easier to install. If anyone has put one in a 1st gen and can offer some advice it would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Min psi 2 max is rated @ 3psi with 15 gpm flow. $60 at autozone, so not a huge price difference between it and the Mr Gasket. Probably 1/3 the price yamaha wants for it if they could get one.
