Rip Posted March 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2008 so ... the engine guard size must be larger than 1" diameter. I ordered a set of Kuryakan highway pegs...with 1 inch mounts. SaltyDawg Posted March 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2008 The guards are 1 inch I would close the highway peg clamps and measure them to make sure they are actually the right size. I got a set a barons risers for my wifes mc that had one side 7/8th and the other one 1". You don't want them to be exactly 1" because then they won't tighten down enough to keep from moving. When the clamps are closed the inside measurement on each one is 15/16's. I'll have to look at the engine guard again to see if maybe I was trying to put it on where there was a slight curve.
