Money Venture Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Puc, how "slippery" is that surface? I have always wanted to do that. Not necessarily on a bike though.

Funny you should ask that Money,,, been ice racing motorcycles for years here in Michigan.. Screws in the tires and all that.. While rippin across that salt I kept having neorotic fear phycosis that I was running on ice without screws,,, really really strange feeling.. Went away when I broke 120.. Its like riding on pavement!! If you go out there though,, its best to pre-run the raceway and check for soft spots,, if the Bonneville has gotten any recent rain (and ironically - they do get some wild storms out there) water can collect in pockets and create mushy spots.. Other than that,,, rock solid!!!
Dragonslayer Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Didnt work Bob,,,, hmmmmmm,,,, let me see if I can help.... Nope that's not the one. Anyone can ride their bike across the Bonneville Salt Flat my video was about a ride in a F-16
