dna9656 Posted December 20, 2013 #1 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) I get a E-4 error code (no signal from the pressure sensor) when checking the CLASS suspension system. The part isn't available, apparently it came with the valves; not alone. Am I goig to find one? Is there a work around for this? Your input would be helpful! Is there a functional test for the sensor to rule it out as the problem? I know if I rule out the connections between the computer and the sensor pig tail and it still gives me "E-4" it could be the sensor or the computer....I have another sensor and computer in the 85, prob. won't work on a 83 though....right? Prairiehammer Posted December 20, 2013 #2 Posted December 20, 2013 Doug, the "E4" error is most commonly associated with cold solder connections on the controller board. See this Tech Bulletin: Also, the controller from the '85 should be the same as the controller on the '83.
