Hi,

 

I am going to attempt to install a Suzuki M109R tacho onto my 2006 RSTD.

 

Has anyone done this what pitfalls await?

Not all tachs time the same way due to the differences in the way coils fire. I seem to recall that some plugs fire every stroke, not just every power stroke. So for those engines, the rpm is 1/2 the firing rate.

Randy has just advised that it is dual pulse, so I need the adapter
