Hi I have just replaced the original brigestones on my tour deluxe and have replaced them with Metzler ME880 on both front and rear. I am having all sorts of problems with the handling now. It feels like the front end wants to go from under me when powering around corners. The front end seems so light. I have 36psi in the front and 40 psi in the back. Any suggestions. Not enough air pressure. I run ME880s at 46 front - 48 rear PSI. I got these from the website and they are the top pressure for solo and the bottom pressure for two up. I'm trying to find the link.

 

Here I saved it in text format:

 

SUGGESTED TIRE PRESSURES BASED ON LOAD (P.S.I.)

Touring / Cruiser

 

ME 880 Marathon Solo 2 Up Light 2 Up Heavy

 

Front 36-40 40-42 40-42

Rear 44-46 46-48 48-50

 

For bikes with the following rear tire sizes:

 

150/80-16, 160/80B16, 180/70R16, 180/60R16, 200/60R16, 240/50R16

170/60R17, 210/50R17

160/60R18, 180/55ZR18, 200/50R18, 240/40R18, 280/35R18
