charlie h. Posted July 13, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 13, 2013 Hi Guys and gals! has anyone successfully added a steering damper to the 1st gen Venture? I have owned several, and it seems that would be a great upgrade for stability. I have Progressive springs, and new lower fork bushings and slider bushings, and will add a condor fork brace soon. Snaggletooth Posted July 13, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 13, 2013 Never gave it much thought as I'm pretty happy with the handling on my '84 with the Progressives and Condor Brace and I push the bike pretty hard sometimes. I'd have to say installing one might be a bit of a challenge with the fairing and cowling pieces around the neck and tree area without some serious changes. Be watching to see what you end up with.
