What a touring bike should have - Part II

I call affordable the most bike I can get for my budget. I Venture to say everyone when choosing a bike leaves some of their desires on the table. There is always something new or shiny or a little more plush that shows up on the newer models. I personally like to find a used bike someone else has added all the goodies to and is now selling to buy the newest thing. Not that I don't desire the newest tech but I just thrive on getting the Big Deal:big-grin-emoticon:

 

I agree with getting the most band for my buck. I haven't bought a new street bike in a long time, my last new bike is a 1998 Honda CR250 that I still have. I've had 3 wings the biggest being the 1200, a Cavalcade with electrical issues and now on my third Venture. They all came along at a great price that I could afford at the time. I have a while to go before my next one what ever it is.
