For sending out the shim kit in such short order. Everything went relatively smooth with the disassembly and the shim replacement was rather easy thanks to V7gooose's instructions. The hardest part of the whole process is putting the bike back together. I do have to say, I don't know way goose recommends removing the carbs, except to do a cleaning and setting the floats since your already this deep into it. I had no problem at all doing the valves with the carbs still installed. But as Goose said, if you haven't done the carbs before then this is a good time to take care of them. I did my floats last season and really didn't want to remove them again. Thanks again to Earl and Goose, and everyone else who has posted tech info on this great forum. Without you guys my bike would probably be a big pile of scrap metal by now.
