dacheedah Posted June 16, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2012 I installed risers last night and was wondering how people rerouted the cables and if you have pictures.
djh3 Posted June 16, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2012 I'm trying to remember what I did. For the most part I think I just popped a couple of the plastic clamps loose from the handle bars. Now what you may notice now is a rattleing in the fairing as it dont have the support of them rubber bumper gomers anymore. Kiby had a set of these when I did mine. Stopped the majority of the rattles.
Rick Haywood Posted June 16, 2012 Share #3 Posted June 16, 2012 I installed risers last night and was wondering how people rerouted the cables and if you have pictures. I put 1 1/2 inch risers on mine and didn't have to do anything thing to mine, I also cut the rubber peices down a bit and placed them on top the handlebars so they push up on the fairing. Worked great
dacheedah Posted June 16, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) my throttle binds at the far right turn, loosened the plastic ties, still not happy with it binding. I tested it with the fairing open and it seemed fine. Altogether and I noticed it. Edited June 16, 2012 by dacheedah
