Star Compatibility

Hi All,

 

Can anyone tell me if the rear rear fender struts are compatible between the Royal and Road Stars? They look almost identical.

 

I have stripped the sissy bar and rear seat off my new(to me) Royal Star Standard and dont have the crescent shaped fender struts and I need to replace them.

 

If anyone has any lying around they would be prepared to part with please let me know.

If your talking about the chrome eyebrows, yes, just check the distance between the bolt holes 9 1/4" I believe.

Haha yes 'eyebrows' is as good a description as any. I just wanted confirmation that the radius of the 'eyebrows' was the same so it follows the fender line of the Royal.

 

These seem a little hard to find. One of the joys of owning an older model bike i suppose.

Go to the Delphi fourms, you'll see'm popup on the Ultrastar forum now and then.

 

Here is a set now I just found, do a search for 8582.1 a set for $30
