reddevilmedic Posted January 26, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2012 i bought a one owner mazda b4000 (ranger) 4x4. i have made some improvements. i installed a BBK 66mm throttle body, a K&N FIPK, an Accel coil, 8mm wires, and DynoMax cat back exhaust. my question is : what about fuel? the stock injectors run at about 22lbs. bosch. if i upgrade to a 30lb, will performance gains be noticable? im sure gas mileage will suffer a little, but my thought is: more air (done) , more fuel ( not yet) equals more h.p. right?? ragtop69gs Posted January 27, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2012 My neighbor is a Bosch engineer who knows theses systems well. I'll print your question and hand it off to him. I'll post his answer here. You will probably need to reprogram the ECM to take advantage of the increased fuel delivery.
