I can hear the spark in my

stereo speakers even when the sound system is off.

 

I know this can't be good, the plug wires have the plastic sheathing on them and I don't see any spark jumping in the dark, but where else could it be coming from?

im not sure if your hearing spark or static. oldgoats 84 did that and he noticed the right button tone and head button when turned all the way made a strange noise when just turning on the bike. he turned that button all the way down and no more noise. now im a female so dont be surprised if i may be right LOL

Change the plug wires and boots and you should be good. My hubby has done that to ours. Clears it up.
