Front Breaks are noisy!

10,000 miles and I get a noise like a rock is caught but I don't believe that's the issue. Need to take the calipers off and have a look.

Would the pads be worn out already? They have indicators for wear?

As an aside, we did a beautiful overniter into Kalispell MT thru Eureka.

What a gorgeous couple days here!

If it's grinding noise, it's time to check your pads, some wear out a lot sooner than others.

If it's a squealing noise it's also the pads, but this is because they are vibrating. To fix this you can buy a spray or a thin pad that goes on the outside of the pad, or if you want something cheaper, just take the pads off and then bevel the leading edge a little at about 45 degrees. It's the leading edge of the pad that 'catches' on the rotor that causes the vibration and so by doing the bevel, it eliminates that action.
