RandyR Posted November 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 8, 2009 Machined aluminum. he won't get very much run time on it before it wears itself out. Neat that it runs though.
Snarley Bill Posted November 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 8, 2009 that is awesome. they have a national home machinist show every year where master machinists enter things that they build as a hobby. that would be a good shot for first place. real machinist are falling by the wayside to cnc technology. guess thats progress. this cnc technology is unbelievable. i would like to upgrade my home workshop vertical mill to 3 axis cnc but it is just to expensive unless i could make money with it. elag Posted November 8, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2009 There's some meticulous engineering and machining put into building that model.
1 Canuck Posted November 8, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 8, 2009 Awsome machining work and effort by a brilliant machinist. I think someone has a little too much time on their hands...they must be retired?
