My Skyfi is mounted on a bracket from http://www.cyclegadgets.com/images/HG-30997c.jpg I got the chrome version and it really works well. As far as the bundle for the extra antenna wire, next time the fairing comes off the wires will disappear inside. I temporarily mounted the antenna onto the L/S resevoir cover with some mounting tape which comes off easily if need be. So far, no issues except the unit powers on every time I start the bike even though I'm on AM, FM etc. because the power socket comes on and off with the switch. No big deal since I mostly listen to XM anyhow. Let me know if you have any more questions. I love this radio. BTW, bring a ZipLok sandwich bag with you in case of rain.
