Scooter Bob Posted August 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2009 Says about 500 miles from Fox Lake, WI. We're seriously thinking about it. If work, dog sitters and the like all works out, we'll be in Friday night, and leave Monday Morn. What day are those bike games again???? we'd love to play along!!! We do or did have orange cones the first year, but we never used them. We usually do massive bon fires. Someone even disposed of old gas from a members rusty gas tank in the fire one cup at a time. That was impressive.

Soak toilet rolls in fuel, light 'em up -- and then start playing "kick the ball" :rotf::rotf:Played it years ago, when I was young and agile. Gotta move quick, and DON"T try to catch the dang thing!! (Oh, and wear boots, not thongs or sandals OUCH!):crackup:

Considering Grandpa Gak has horses we might be able to use a few "horse apples" and light those on fire!

Get some tennis balls to go with the cones, maybe some small stuffed animals and a landing net, a clothes line and some rags and pins, a couple empty half barrels or garbage cans, and we'll have some fun one of those evenings. I'll have to show someone else how to be the ref though, cus Karen and I will want to play!!!! Later, Scooter Bob
