I installed mine early this season, they were a "gift" from Santa.....so far, so good! They look great, and so far, not everyone has them, so they are "unique" and create some great comments.

I like them, and I don't worry about Beth scuffing the lids anymore. Yup, a pain to install, but the end result is worth the aggravation. I actually cemented mine with contact cement, instead of using the tubing. Made for a tighter fit!

Sent him a email today about building me some water bottle/bags for the rear saddle bag gaurds like River Road makes for the Harleys.

He said he could do it. He is a member here by the way. He has a Tour Deluxe

Should be somthing like this...

I will get some photos when I get them installed.

Water bottle holders like this especially made for the Venture?

Did you just use the contact cement on the edges or on the whole lid? I am just thinking about down the road if you need to remove them for some reason.

You guys know the rules, we gotta see some art work!!! Seriously, I like the sound of these, the E Bay pics don't show off the leather very well. So if any of you have decent pictures, I would love to see them.

Thanks
