Bigfoot Posted July 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2009 Hopefully I haven't already posted this. I don't believe I have. I'm leaving around August 1 for my long ride through the New England states. I'd appreciate any suggestions for sight seeing in your state. Can be an historical location, favorite/unusual place to eat, lake, or whatever. If you have a street name or intersection then great. Otherwise the name will work. Hampton Beach New Hampshire is on the Coast Line too another tourist town. Most of all Dress for the Slide and not the Ride (crazy eastcoast city drivers) everywhere. Bubber Posted July 16, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 16, 2009 I used to live in the Boston area and here are places I took my visitors. Old Ironside , USS Constitution Boston water front Saugus Iron Works Suagus MA. First iron factory in the new world Freedom Trail dowtown Boston it winds through all the historic sites Old North Church Bunker Hill Boston Harbor Gloucester Ma. New England fishing village. Way cool The rocky coast of Maine great scenery The people of Maine are great. LL Bean, Freeport Maine I guy could spend a day there easy What I found is that a lot of people don't visit the attractions in their own backyard. That is why we are wisiting those places in Minnesota I didn't ever know about. Have a great time on your trip and stop to smell the flowers as they say.
