Bumper for 84 Venture

When I bought my new old 84 Venture the previous owner gave me a chrome bumper that he thought was on the bike at one time. I haven't seen any pictures yet on this site that really look like what I have.

Does anybody have any idea if there were ever chrome bumpers that go around the saddlebags for an 84 VR? Or has anybody ever seen something like that? I'm not sure if it will fit or how exactly how to put it on the bike. Any input or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Hey King, I have a rear bumper for my '84VR, but it doesn't wrap around the saddlebags, it goes under them (see pics here). The license plate bracket is removed and the bumper mounts to the rear fender top using a couple special brackets. I can get you some pics of the brackets if it helps. I took the bumper off this season. Looks pretty good on the bike I think. Gives the back end a lot of much needed visibility, especially at night. The thing lights up like a Christmas tree.
