Intercom for RSTD?

Does anyone have experience with communication devices that will work on an RSTD? I found this one with a Google search http://www.bikeintercom.com/products/motorcycle_intercom .html

but I have never used one and I don't know if it's a quality product or not. I can't afford much right now, but Spring is getting near and it would be nice if my wholesome honey and I could talk while we ride.

 

I am very ignorant about electronics, so keep this in mind when answering.

I dont have cb on my G1 Venture, but in a thread earlier today this was posted to be a good unit.

I think both units are pretty much the same but the more expensive one will give you your intercom. You will also need an antenna and helmet headsets. I dont know what else might be needed as I am just looking at this equipment as well.

If you just want an intercom, a LOT of good things are said about the chatterbox 50.

 

The chatterbox is around $60.00 and then $30.00-$40.00 each for the helmet headsets. it's the best made cheap driver-passenger intercom I have seen out there.

It seems to be a good unit so far, and I was able to integrate a CB unit (Midland 75-822) that I picked up at Walmart for $70.
