Guest tx2sturgis Posted October 15, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 15, 2008 Might help to include the bike you ride, either in your title or the text of your message. If its a Royal Star 2nd gen, both red lights ( oil level and water temp) will come on and the bike wont start if you have a kickstand down/no clutch/in-gear situation...if only one light comes on...hmmm...may be the water temp light is burned out and the engine cutout switch is off...just throwin out some guesses. flb_78 Posted October 15, 2008 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2008 my bad, I thought you meant the light was on while the bike was running.
ragamuffin Posted October 15, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted October 15, 2008 Sorry- 99rsv, One light and when I push the starter that light flashes and nothing happens. I wait awhile and it fires. I just got back from a rainy run down the highway and it ran just fine, I puleed in the drive and while turning around it died and is not starting again. I was supposed to make a 600 mile ride early in the morning but might ought to pass.
