uncledj Posted September 2, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2008 Found a nice set of floorboards and shifter for a 99 Royal star....how tough would it be to adapt them to my 88 Venture? I'm pretty good at adapting and fabricating things like that, but with the shifter and brake assemblies, it seems like it'd be a tough job. pegscraper Posted September 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2008 It shouldn't be too tough to make some adapter plates out of 1/4" steel. Then you could bolt the floorboards up in about any position you wanted. I don't know what you're into for shift linkage and brake though, but I have to think that something could be fabbed up. I don't know what 1st gen shift linkage and rear brake linkage look like, but I could get you pictures of anything you wanted pertaining to those '99 floorboards.
